Jo Trendall is Swatpro Academy's Digital Marketing Training Manager

I am responsible for ensuring that the Level 3 Digital Marketing programme we deliver is compliant and delivered to the highest quality. My day is very varied and never the same – lots of emails, heading up the delivery, recruitment and administrative teams, liaison with employers and apprentices, and Designated Safeguarding lead.

I worked in a variety of jobs up to my 30s including retail, sales, travel, then worked in hospitality for 20 years in operations then training. I love to work in a team and have a varied job, no two days were the same and I guess that experience has helped me in my role today

I am proud that I’m part of a business that strives to help young people grow and develop. Working within the recruitment side of the business gave me so many rewarding moments – particularly when an apprentice didn’t get the job with one client, but was successful the second or third time around. Going on to see them progress and thrive in the business is something that gets me through the stressful days!

I love to travel and explore new places and cultures. I like reading, walking, cooking and listening to all kinds of music.
