WHAT IS AN APPRENTICESHIP STANDARD?
Standards are made up of a period of training (between 12 months to 60 months), where knowledge is acquired, skills developed and practically applied. Each apprenticeship standard has been developed by employers and the content and end-point-assessment agreed by the employer trailblazer groups. This means they are what the industry wants. Swatpro Academy delivers the training for these Hospitality & Catering Apprenticeship Standards:
- Hospitality Team Member
- Hospitality Supervisor
- Hospitality Manager
- Commis Chef
- Chef de Partie
- Production Chef
- Senior Chef in Production Cooking
Each apprenticeship standard requires a minimum of 20% 'Off the job training'. We support each employer and apprentice to plan this over the duration of the apprenticeship.
