Training to be Provided

Apprenticeship Training Provided by Assessor at Swatpro, every 4 weeks. In-house training for the job role provided by employer.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Membership Experience Manager this role will provide the pivotal administration support for the membership retention process at the Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce.

  • Administration of the retention process for existing members.
  • Send the regular member journey retention ‘touch point’ emails and respond to the replies.
  • Make the monthly member retention ‘check in’ calls and update CRM with the responses.
  • Day-to-day operation of the Customer Relationship Management software system (CRM).
  • Running of weekly/monthly reports from the CRM for the team and management.
  • Supporting the membership function with associated administration, including CRM updates, issuing certificates.
  • Supporting the Events Executive with delivery of a wide range of events, including co-ordinating attendance, updating CRM, preparation of event materials and badges, meet and greet attendees
  • Make and receive telephone calls on behalf of the team to members and non-members.
  • Other general administrative duties for the MEC Team and senior management as required, such as printing and errands.
  • Liaising with Accounts Assistant to ensure payments are made accurately and in line with credit control

Qualifications required

GCSE- A-C/ 4-9 or Equivalent in Maths and English, Preferred but not essential.

Working week

  • Paid Hours per week: 37
  • Working hours per day: 7.5
  • Working week pattern: Mon-Friday

Pay rates

  • Weekly: £277.50
  • Per Hour: £7.50-
  • Annually: £13,320

Excepted progression after this apprenticeship

Potential to progress from apprentice to full team member on successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
