Swatpro Academy has been recognised by a Global leader in IT for demonstrating an outstanding commitment to developing tech talent
Swatpro Academy, whose commitment to preparing individuals for careers in technology has not wavered during a global pandemic, have been awarded the Apprenticeship Partner Newcomer Award by The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), the non-profit association for the global technology industry.
Swatpro Academy is one of only 18 organisations recognised by CompTIA during its recent EMEA Partner Awards, hosted at the CompTIA EMEA Member & Partner Conference. This was the first in person conference hosted by CompTIA since 2019.
CompTIA’s Partner Awards recognise the CompTIA Authorised Partners that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to developing tech talent through offering CompTIA certifications and training to prepare students for careers in a range of information technology (IT) fields such as IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has presented challenges to educational institutions, but our partners have continued to provide high quality training and certification despite the challenges. We are very proud to work and partner with organisations that value and deliver high quality training and certification.” said Graham Hunter, CompTIA vice president for business development. “For many IT pros, the knowledge, and skills they employ today were sparked and nurtured under the tutelage of teachers, instructors and trainers from a CompTIA Authorised Partner”.
Swatpro Academy staff are experienced and professional sector specialists within the IT and Digital sector. The Apprenticeship Standards they deliver have been developed with Employers and as such are relevant to the workplace, helping apprentices progress in their careers. The Apprenticeships represent a variety of opportunities for Apprentices and Employers to develop, train and upskill staff in a wide range of different IT related industry areas and job roles such as IT Technicians, IT Helpdesk Support, Network Engineers and Cyber Security specialist.
