Rachael puts care into progressing her career

While working at care providers Home Instead, Rachael Fayter completed her QCF Diploma level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care in October 2021. Her qualification was overseen by Swatpro, regional specialists in this type of training.

Rachael was extremely pleased with how her course progressed and she enjoyed the learning process. She had the following positive things to say about her time spent training:

“I really enjoyed this, and the experience was good. This is a great learning platform with great assessors who support you through the process.”

Rachael spoke very highly about her tutor/teacher: “Natalie was really good and supported me with achieving the goals that were set with regular contact.

Doing this through Covid-19 was tough at times, but Natalie supported me so well with this it was made to feel easy.”

Rachael had positive outcomes from her training, she says: “This was a good tool in helping me to understand my own level of constraints and how to manage my time with learning.

“It has enabled me to understand different elements of my role and to put this into the training that I support new CAREGivers with.”
